Halloween and other nonsense

Wes is Windy Guy, isn't he hilarious? All night I would look over at him and laugh and laugh.
Just to let you know a few things about me. You probably won't like what you hear just so you know. I don't hate President Obama. just so you know. I won't debate you on why, I just think that he's probably doing his best. Just like the rest of us, and I voted, not for him, but I voted and he ended up in office and my world hasn't changed. I hated when people bashed President Bush because I thought the same thing, the guy is doing is best. I don't want that job. enough of that. I don't do crafts. I love looking at blogs (not so much updating mine), I love wearing shoes and socks, pretty much it is the first thing I put on. I love my job even though I get told countless times a day by patients that it would be the worst job in the world. ha ha Here's some halloween pictures. and please don't try to debate me about president obama :) I will just smile and nod...and maybe agree or maybe not. The wonderful thing about this country is we can be loud and aggressive about our views...or not. Don't get me wrong we have to fight for our freedoms! And I am grateful for the men and women who do just that. Oh no somehow this turned into my soapbox, sorry. Just look at the happy halloween picture people.
Just because we have freedom of speech doesn't mean we are obligated.

California

Disneyland! We were lucky enough to have Grandma Marci, Grandpa Dave, Tyler and Afsonai come with us to Disneyland and let me tell you it is the happiest place on earth, that is until you stand in line for 30 minutes with Heath pulling your hair and smacking you in the face. We stayed over in Vegas on the way down and saw the gardens and the fountains at the Bellagio. The park itself was a lot of fun and the new World of Color was awesome! We had fun at the beach and swimming at the pool in St. George. Lots of bathroom stops, burning cars and road work made the drive always entertaining but we finally made it back home. I think the best part of the whole trip was the kids suite at the hotel which made it super nice to have a little peace and quiet. It was a lot of fun but I think it will be a while before we go back, at least until Heath stops being so abusive and more patient, or Kristine either one.

Flaming Gorge

We had lots of fun at Flaming Gorge with Tiffany and her family being able to be here this year. The kids had a blast with Heath waterskiing and Jane wakeboarding with Wes this year. We played on the beach, did a little fishing, and swam a ton. All three of our batteries died at one point 2 on the boat and one in the car because we were having so much fun, that and we left the key on. Always a fun trip and we missed all of you that couldn't make it this year.

Grey's River trip was a lot of fun this year with the weather being good, and the road not being refinished it made it a lot easier. We got away with only one accident when Heath grabbed the throttle and rear ended Kristine on her four wheeler while we were stopped for a minute. Other than that it was a lot of fun, except when the cow's got into the campground at 3 in the morning and were mooing and grunting, at least we hope it was the cows as we were camping pretty close to Tyler and Afsonai.

BA-GOCK

So we got chickens

Wes is not too thrilled about it, but the kids loooove them.

Meet Dolly (my black sex-link), Toothless and Astro-boy (the brown Americanas that are Jane's), and Nugget and Tyson (the yellow ones or white leghorns that are Heath and Wes' but Wes named both of them) They have been pretty easy so far and we are looking forward to fresh weird colored eggs.

Jane is loving ballet and soccer, I'm pretty sure I went the last time snowboarding this year but Snowbasin was good to us. It has been really rejuvenating taking a little break with general conference and stake conference in a row, now I'm ready for primary again. My parents are in Samoa doing dental work for a few months and loving it and we miss them. As usual lots of fun trips on Mondays. Last Monday we went to the Hansen Planetarium (it's free to get inside) and watched a movie ($6) that Cactus sat through...amazing. Grandpa Dave and Grandma Marci came with and we had us some serious fun!
Easter
Easter was good to us and it was maybe even easier finding eggs in the snow than finding the eggs in the grass. We had fun hunts at parks, Grandma Marci's and Kara's house. I will once again nominate myself for mother of the year because after four Easter egg hunts I figured the Easter Bunny didn't need to come to our house, and he didn't.

This picture is from the Easter egg hunt at Kara's house, I was trying to take a pic of Heath with his bucket and his cute cousins jumped in, I am sooo glad because it turned out to be such a great picture and getting these cousins to pose for a picture is impossible. Honestly this pic makes me tear up, check out the great examples Cactus has in his life...lucky and blessed.

p.s. Mom and Dad I miss you!
