I'm upset about all this President stuff

No, this is not a political post, who cares about politics at this time, this blog is about me, me, ME!!!

Yes folks I just got put in as primary president.

Please feel free to chuckle and guffaw in glee because it is me and not you.

Please also feel free to comment any suggestions and I will gladly pay you in brownies, simply

e-mail me your address.

Also some pictures for my mom in Belarus

I love you Mom, but I may not be active by the time you guys get home in January, nothing personal.

Oh Kristine...I was just there this year. To be honest...it's sooo hard. And takes up a lot of time. Really pray about your counselors. Make sure you pick really responsible people that will just roll with things. Otherwise you're going to be doing EVERYTHING. And Sundays will no longer be relaxing. You'll absolutely hate hearing your phone ring on Sunday mornings.

But, you'll also be in the most entertaining place in church. You are blessed with a great opportunity to help these children gain a testimony. For some of the kids, it will be their only exposure to church in their lifetime. Everyone says "I love these kids so much." Which I thought was bogus. Some I didn't love but really in the end, after serving them, I grew to love all of them. Plus, you'll get to pick your kids teachers. ;)

Good luck. Let me know if you need any ideas or advice.

A great big HA-ha! First suggestion: make everyone call you "President Godfrey" Second: I was at George's school this morning and a little girl told another kid "don't run in the halls, there's camera's in the ceiling!" I chuckled and thought about all the stuff we told kids in Taiwan. I guess lying isn't a very good suggestion. You will be GREAT!

You'll do a great job! But I admit, I'm glad it is not me. Knock on wood!! Enjoy and just go with the flow.

Kristine!!! You'll be a great primary pres:) he he! good luck!

I was so excited to hear you are working for D. Mag now. I hope you love it there as much as I did. I know they are going to love YOU so much. I kind of wish I was there to work with you... I always love a good time:)

Also, I'm glad to see another ReAL Salt Lake fan. If you can believe it, Stevo and I have stayed fans even here in Dallas.

I hope you don't care if I follow your blog now...

I still think you're going to do a great job! Just remember - it was the Lord who called you to this position, so rely on Him to help you, and you will be fine! I LOVE the picture of Jane by the Christus. And, is it just me, or does Wes look a lot like Tyler in that picture? Weird! Can't wait to see you - it's been forever!

Hey Kristine!Ijust left you a great comment and now its gone--so much for knowing my way around the blog site! Congratulations! Just think--Sarah Palin has probably never had the chance to be the president and maybe never will--but you have! And the One who called you will continue to support you! I have such great memories of primary because of the wonderful councilors, secretary, teachers, music people, nursery leaders (who get to use that great new manual) and people who signed up on the "will substitute teach when you need me to" list! We also had a Bishop who was willing to pinch hit and come in and bear his testimony and tell stories when someone couldn't come in an emergency! So our prayers are with you and with Wes who is such a good dad and will be your "right arm" during this time. God bless all of you in this fun new adventure. I cried for two weeks when I got released from Primary and had to go to Relief Society (I did really learn to love it though---just that I hadn't been there much because of YW and Primary). So enjoy every minute and keep track of all the cute stuff the kids say and do! They will love you and you will never forget them! Love you more than Sacrament meeting presentation practices! Mom

I have to agree and say you will be awesome in the primary. I just got released from the primary and I miss it like crazy. I learned more things from the kids them anywhere else. I also agree that sunday morning calls are a little(well really ) annoying and you wish that the teachers were big enough to call a sub. all by themselves. Good luck and you will do a GREAT job!
