Happy Fall! Let me just start with the reason I haven't blogged in so long is because everytime I get on here I decide to check out what ya'll are doing first. I spend a lot of time wiping tears of joy and laughter, commenting on how cute your punks are and spending a lot of time contemplating your wit and creativity. By the time I get done with all of those emotions I am spent and my son has woken up from his nap and it's time for my pedicure. and bon bons.
Anyhow we have been having so much fun, here are some recent pics!
Jane's been playing soccer. Her team is called the Cheetos. I bribe her to kick the ball once a game. A little girl had her extended family calling her name because she was scoring and dribbling and Jane asked me why I wasn't cheering her name. I couldn't really say it was because all she was doing was running behind a little pack of girls. So I cheered for my little runner.
Speaking of running I ran my first marathon this year, sadly no pictures because Wes had to work so just imagine me really sweaty and that's your picture. It was really fun, come run with me next year. I got to run with my two sisters, little brother and sister in law.
Wes and I got to go to New York for a week and visit some awesome friends in Ithaca. Mark, Mel, Mason and baby Wesley made sure we had a great time taking us to some beautiful gorges and it was applefest, so we ate LOTS of apples. We are so lucky to have such great friends who love to do fun things.
Watching them make cider and we got to eat apple cider donuts Hiking the Gorges and Applefest!!!!Hugh Jackman's forehead ha ha!Brooklyn Bridge
It was such a fun trip, my favorite was hiking along a highway our taxi cab driver dropped us off on and then throwing our luggage over a chain link fence and then climbing over after it. Always an adventure.

I can't believe you did a marathon! I didn't even know you were into running. Some sort of friend I am. And what is this story about the taxi cab driver!?!?!?! Oh my goodness. Tell all. Miss you!

So glad to see an update! Jealous of your good times in NY. Oh your little soccer player. Maybe 10 cents if she TOUCHES the ball??? That's what I used to get when I wasn't busy doing cartwheels & making "nests" with the grass. Yep. My parents were VERY proud too! I scored accidently once and got $1.00!!! HOLY MOLY. Hate to motivate with money, but it worked for me. Played clear into high school! 10 cents adds up to a lot over the years. :)

Lets go for a walk today?
