Summer rewind 2

On the way home from the Grey's we got to hang out with our long lost friends the Baughs and the Slavens in Bear Lake. It was a lot of fun to see them and let the kids play for the afternoon while catching up. I wish we all lived closer together so we could do this more often. The zoo was also featured this summer along with Lagoon with the family, Flaming Gorge which led to many star pictures and tubing. As I'm labeling my favorite pictures in all the collages this one has to go to the neighborhood bike parade where Heath found his own bathroom, you gotta love little boys!

Summer rewind

I can't believe that summer has come and gone, unfortunately our pictures are much the same as last year, just older kids. Fun at Willow park with Max and Hudson, Fourth of July extravaganza at Randy's cabin in Wyoming along with the annual Grey's River four wheeling/camping trip. My favorite picture is the one with Heath bungee corded to the four wheeler so his head wouldn't flop while he was asleep, nice work Tyler! Jackson Hole to see the Bar J Wranglers, some horseshoes and smores, it doesn't get much better than that.

Summer time fun

Swim lessons and slip n slide, it doesn't get better than this. The kids have started their lessons this last week and all it does is make me want a banana snow cone (blast from the past swim lesson reference at the Siddoway's growing up). The slip and slide was great although the water was a little cold and the weather was as well even though it is the middle of June. Hopefully lots of more fun summer time thrills await, stay tuned.

Field trips gallore!

Jane went to the zoo and Mom even got to go this time with her class at school, lots of fun including the Tigers slamming up against the glass right in front of their eyes. The biggest field trip of all was going to Mars, no Martians found this time but we'll probably go back just to make sure. Ikea was a great trip along with some chocolate which Heath decided to chow down on in the car ride home, not sure how much he actually got to eat though as seen in picture. And finally the bird refuge where you can see their wing spans are growing but not quite to the Eagle status.

Weekend of Fun

What a whilrwind of a weekend with Father's day fishing trip at preschool with luckily no kids falling in the pond, right onto Father's and sons campout with the little guy. This was my first father's and sons as a father and it is crazy to me that no kids were harmed in this campout, Darwinism at it's finest I guess. My favorite part of the whole campout was that the potluck for dinner consisted of about 20 bags of chips. And finally a jaunt to the Dinosaur park with Sara and Richard and company, fun for all, and luckily no one was harmed at the Dino park either. (however there were a few scares from the animitronics.)

Halloween and other nonsense

Wes is Windy Guy, isn't he hilarious? All night I would look over at him and laugh and laugh.
Just to let you know a few things about me. You probably won't like what you hear just so you know. I don't hate President Obama. just so you know. I won't debate you on why, I just think that he's probably doing his best. Just like the rest of us, and I voted, not for him, but I voted and he ended up in office and my world hasn't changed. I hated when people bashed President Bush because I thought the same thing, the guy is doing is best. I don't want that job. enough of that. I don't do crafts. I love looking at blogs (not so much updating mine), I love wearing shoes and socks, pretty much it is the first thing I put on. I love my job even though I get told countless times a day by patients that it would be the worst job in the world. ha ha Here's some halloween pictures. and please don't try to debate me about president obama :) I will just smile and nod...and maybe agree or maybe not. The wonderful thing about this country is we can be loud and aggressive about our views...or not. Don't get me wrong we have to fight for our freedoms! And I am grateful for the men and women who do just that. Oh no somehow this turned into my soapbox, sorry. Just look at the happy halloween picture people.
Just because we have freedom of speech doesn't mean we are obligated.
