Grey's River

We just got back from Camping with the Godfrey Gang

It started out a bit rainy but by the time we left the weather was perfect. If you love to camp and do a little four-wheeling this area is definitely worth the drive. Here are some pictures.
Enjoying a WARM fire and awesome family
Afsonai helping Jane Marci and Jane
Jane couldn't wait to get that helmet on first thing in the morning-it did pose some breakfast-eating problems
Our little Family
I'm a bit muddy from splashing through the mud puddles
(Jane and my favorite part of the trip) Chillin' in the camp chair
When did this kid get big?

Four wheelin' with the man

Look what Jane found
I can't say enough about my awesome in-laws. They come up with these really fun trips. All we have to do is bring a tent! Really I am so lucky, they treat me like gold and are really into playing.

We got to celebrate Father's Day with these stellar fathers.

Check out big daddy with the axe.
Happy Father's Day to me
On the way we got to see Ashlee for a second and eat tasty treats at the Quick and Tasty, I wish I woulda brought my camera. After seeing all of the beautiful scenery and secretly wishing I could ditch my life to be a mountain woman I asked Jane where she would want to live if she could live anywhere and she said, "next to Max."
Thanks to Lindi for letting us borrow ONE of Hunter's helmets!!!
We can't wait to hit the road again!

Watch Your Mouth

This is my beautiful daughter Jane

She is four
She loves dresses
She is very stubborn
On Saturday, I rushed home from work to change and rush to a baptism. Wes had decided to go snowboarding so I quickly tried to get Cactus and Jane ready to go with me. Jane and I ran to her closet to find a dress that was some-what baptism-worthy.

"What's THAT white dress?" She asked. I pulled out her 6 month blessing dress from the back of her closet. "This is your blessing dress you wore when you were a TINY baby." I explained.

"Ooooh it's beeeautiful, can I wear it?"

"No, it was just for that day and we need to keep it special"

"Please can I wear it, it's like a beeeeautiful white wedding dress"

"Honey, it won't fit you, it was just for when you got blessed and were a baby"

"Mom, I really really want to wear it, please please please"

"FINE, if it fits you, you can wear it, but if it doesn't you have to just quickly wear whatever I choose for you"

Everybody else was doing it.

Not to be outdone by Mason and Bridger we had to post Jane learning to ski also. She's gone up a couple of times and does really well. This was about the only video without Cactus screaming in it all the way, but needless to say it was a fun day.

Happy Happy Birthday Jane Dear!

One

Two
Three

and now you are Four!!!

I am so lucky to have a good, smart girl like you! I love that you want your pajamas on at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and that you make up songs and sing them at the top of your lungs. I love that you said a prayer to find your cat and he came home and now whenever he is not around you want to pray to get him back. This year has been the best one of my life and I am so proud of you and all the good things you do and all the fun times we have together playing princesses and dress ups in my old prom dresses. You are so amazing to me every day. You are my angel! I love you Jane, Happy Birthday!

Something I Heard Yesterday

Oh my baby Jane, when did you get big enough to say,
"Mom I have an m&m stuck in my belly button"

What other delicious snack foods you got in there?

Here's what is new at our house

Moses the cat
I'm starting to think dogs are better, but we are still grieving

Why just eat something when you can wear it too!

Don't be alarmed, that's cookie

Happy boy with six teeth, but they are all on the left side...weird.

Jane was climbing up the slide at the playground and slipped and broke her arm.

Jane is starting to read and loves the Dick and Jane books Grandma.
