BA-GOCK

So we got chickens

Wes is not too thrilled about it, but the kids loooove them.

Meet Dolly (my black sex-link), Toothless and Astro-boy (the brown Americanas that are Jane's), and Nugget and Tyson (the yellow ones or white leghorns that are Heath and Wes' but Wes named both of them) They have been pretty easy so far and we are looking forward to fresh weird colored eggs.

Jane is loving ballet and soccer, I'm pretty sure I went the last time snowboarding this year but Snowbasin was good to us. It has been really rejuvenating taking a little break with general conference and stake conference in a row, now I'm ready for primary again. My parents are in Samoa doing dental work for a few months and loving it and we miss them. As usual lots of fun trips on Mondays. Last Monday we went to the Hansen Planetarium (it's free to get inside) and watched a movie ($6) that Cactus sat through...amazing. Grandpa Dave and Grandma Marci came with and we had us some serious fun!
Easter
Easter was good to us and it was maybe even easier finding eggs in the snow than finding the eggs in the grass. We had fun hunts at parks, Grandma Marci's and Kara's house. I will once again nominate myself for mother of the year because after four Easter egg hunts I figured the Easter Bunny didn't need to come to our house, and he didn't.

This picture is from the Easter egg hunt at Kara's house, I was trying to take a pic of Heath with his bucket and his cute cousins jumped in, I am sooo glad because it turned out to be such a great picture and getting these cousins to pose for a picture is impossible. Honestly this pic makes me tear up, check out the great examples Cactus has in his life...lucky and blessed.

p.s. Mom and Dad I miss you!

I am glad that you got chickens. That will break Wes in just in time for the horse. You need a farm my girl. Looks like a great time. Miss you as usual.

I'm mad at you for not naming one your chickens Soderberg. :)

I'm glad you finally got your chickens. They really are the best and easiest. You guys are awesome, and Wes' hair is getting really long....:)
Oh, and my parents got their mission call to Berlin Germany, working in a Young Adult Center. They are excited, but nervous to learn the language. They go to the MTC on July 5th.
