(I think this is supposed to be a plie)

We got to have Richard and Sara over for a minute while they were down for Memorial Weekend. Hooray for cousins!

Mother's Day gifts for my triathalon. Swim cap, goggles and a new bike helmet. My family is so amazing to support me in this. I did one, it was so fun!

BA-GOCK

So we got chickens

Wes is not too thrilled about it, but the kids loooove them.

Meet Dolly (my black sex-link), Toothless and Astro-boy (the brown Americanas that are Jane's), and Nugget and Tyson (the yellow ones or white leghorns that are Heath and Wes' but Wes named both of them) They have been pretty easy so far and we are looking forward to fresh weird colored eggs.

Jane is loving ballet and soccer, I'm pretty sure I went the last time snowboarding this year but Snowbasin was good to us. It has been really rejuvenating taking a little break with general conference and stake conference in a row, now I'm ready for primary again. My parents are in Samoa doing dental work for a few months and loving it and we miss them. As usual lots of fun trips on Mondays. Last Monday we went to the Hansen Planetarium (it's free to get inside) and watched a movie ($6) that Cactus sat through...amazing. Grandpa Dave and Grandma Marci came with and we had us some serious fun!
Easter
Easter was good to us and it was maybe even easier finding eggs in the snow than finding the eggs in the grass. We had fun hunts at parks, Grandma Marci's and Kara's house. I will once again nominate myself for mother of the year because after four Easter egg hunts I figured the Easter Bunny didn't need to come to our house, and he didn't.

This picture is from the Easter egg hunt at Kara's house, I was trying to take a pic of Heath with his bucket and his cute cousins jumped in, I am sooo glad because it turned out to be such a great picture and getting these cousins to pose for a picture is impossible. Honestly this pic makes me tear up, check out the great examples Cactus has in his life...lucky and blessed.

p.s. Mom and Dad I miss you!

Wuzzapnin

When you were little did you ever lay on your side to roll down a steep, grassy hill until you gradually stopped and then you got that feeling that you were done spinning but maybe the world still was spinning. Or that you were still spinning and the world was standing still? Sometimes I feel like that lately.
This is what's happening at our house.
One cute Girl! ready to start kindergarten and NOT scared of her school shots. Two missing teeth now! don't mind the food in her mouth, it was the only good picture of her missing teeth

three silly faces

(random cute picture)

Family of Four on the Frontrunner (Jane counts she is taking the picture)Jane turned Five!

(chuck e cheese party that was sooo fun)
Jane is doing ballet again, loving school, making up songs and games with Wes (one called the chicken nugget game that one person sings and the other one dances until the singing stops and then the dancer must freeze)
Heath turned TWO! He loves to call Kara, loves to say, "You did it" and has begun using the toilet, we are happy even though he straddles the toilet backwards. An evolution from Wes trying to get him to go standing up and his stubborness to sit down.

Christmas

For Christmas we went to temple square with the Godfrey's and saw the Pratt's for a second before running to make the trax while pushing a stroller and barely getting there in time to make the train back home. We also got to go to the Christmas village in Ogden where we saw Santa and both kids did well sitting on a stranger's lap and Heath even told him that he wanted a big truck. Christmas turned out well and we are now enjoying the new year with all the decorations down and moving forward. Oh and Kristine wanted me to make sure and tell everyone that these posts are from me aka Wes as I guess I'm not as creative as she is.

Everything at once

Well, it's been a long time since an update and that doesn't mean we haven't been doing things. Here's just some samplings of some of the fun times we've had recently. We've been to the airplane museum, the train museum, the old car museum, the black island farms, the ogden nature center, the dinosaur park, American West heritage center, antelope island and I'm sure there's some I'm forgetting.

More of the same

We had a lost tooth, and a visit from the tooth fairy to our house, went to the treehouse museum, thanksgiving in St. George with some frozen custard and a little skiing.

warning

Warning!
I casually glanced out the window facing my backyard and it looked like this:

Which may mean you just spent a really really fun Wednesday with your friend Ashlee and she helped you pick out entire outfits for your family pictures on Monday and inspired you to do something crazy like this:

Which adds some color to your otherwise dull life...

I'm just saying watch out.

And thanks Ashlee
Can't wait for Monday!
